Meet in Santa Maria at 11am
Meet in the Wal Mart Parking Lot...all the way across the lot from Wal Mart, close to Bradley Road (if you were walking out of the wal mart main entrance, you would go all the way across the parking lot, close to the quiznos, game stop, fantastic sams, etc.)
After photographing the waterfall and area around the park, we will work our way through Solvang to Santa Ynez and end up at a winery that has some beautiful scenery. It is called: Roblar. Located on Roblar Rd and Hwy 154. Anyone interested in wine tasting is welcome to partake.

I would like to schedule an October Meeting.
Any volunteers for locations in Santa Maria or Nipomo? Please email me, and let me know. At this meeting we can elect volunteers and watch a GREAT movie about nature photography. I can provide all the equipment.Upcoming EventsFall colors are coming.
It's time to get out and make some images.
Save the date: Saturday November 7th will be a photo outing to the Santa Ynez Valley. We will meet at Nojoqui Falls and work our way thru the valley and look for some colorful grapes to photograph (some wineries might appreciate if we taste their wine before a large group of us goes parading through their grape fields…ohhh the pain). Always free and all members welcome. Come for all or part of the event.

If you are looking to learn something new, check out the following workshops I will be offering:Advanced Canon UsersTentatively Scheduled for Sat. Oct 17th 18th OR 24th. Or on a Weds. Eve. If interested let me know what works best for you.Learn everything you need to know to take total control over your Canon SLR. Give me a day and I will make you an expert. Space is limited, so contact me if interested. Cost is $39 per person and includes a detailed manual as well as coffee & snacks.
Outdoor Portraits with Off Camera Flashes
Date TBA: If interested please contact me.Turn your snapshops into professional quality portraits. Do nice favors for friends and family, or start making some money with your photography. We will go on location with a model and you will become a professional artist. Cost is $39 per person and space is limited.

As our club grows, I find the need for more formal volunteer roles in increasing. I would love to find someone to do the following:
Website Manager: We need one or more people to keep the blog up to date.
Membership manager: We need someone to collect information on our members
Communication Manager: We need someone to take over emails and/or newsletters
Flickr Manager: We need someone to manage the group website on flickr.com
